Spend a Friday Night with Andrea Bocelli’s “White Christmas”

I’m dreaming of a white Christmas just like the ones I used to know. Where the treetops glisten, and children listen to hear sleigh bells in the snow.

I’m dreaming of a white Christmas with every Christmas card I write. May your days be merry and bright and may all your Christmases be white.

Christmas is for Santino and Bro

I bet everyone is now as busy as we were preparing for the holidays. It’s time to take down the holiday decors and store them until December. It’s time to finish the leftovers before they get spoiled. It’s time to get back and till the land.

So long, Christmas holidays. Until next time. (And it’s gonna be, hello summer? Yey!)

Before we finally wrap up and bid farewell to the holidays, let me congratulate the people behind these touching, inspiring videos. You folks did a good job. Two thumbs up!

Zaijan Jaranillo (or Santino, as he is more known) is a really charming little boy. No doubt, his innocent looks can launch a thousand opportunities for every product or service he promotes. Kids, as always, are the best endorsers.

As he’s considerably joining the ranks of other (then) famous child stars like Nino Muhlach and Aiza Seguerra, I just wonder what his future beholds once he’s no longer a little kid. Well, there are successful fews, Vilma Santos is for one. I’m hoping the best for this boy. He’s such a cutie that I want to bring him home and treat him as if he is my own, yay!

business: Cadbury: More Than an Iconic Brand by Gill Corkindale
Since Kraft has taken over my favorites, Oreo and Chips Ahoy!, these delights never tasted better than they were before. The works of commercialism, right? Now Kraft is trying to get my another favorite. I don’t think this should happen. Cadbury’s a classic, and yes, I have emotional connection to it!

Bacchus: A Premium Go for Wine this Holiday Season

originally published at Forbes in Touch, December 2007

I am too sensitive to cold weather, and I feel somewhat fortunate for being born in a country that only rains or shines, Yet this familiar wintry breeze that frosts my feet every morning conveys rather more exciting news. Oh yes, thanks for reminding me; my much loved yearly holiday is here once again!

We are all expecting another round of merrymaking that equally encapsulates all the good things that happened in our lives this year. Apart from creating large food buffets, wines and spirits are definitely not discarded on the shopping list.

A search for the best wine in the metro seems to entail tough luck nowadays. Yet in case you are yearning for such a “Holy Grail” that does not only suit your palate but also expresses your chosen mood or personality, perhaps Bacchus can bestow what you truly seek for.
